Is the war in Iraq really over?!

Obama announced that the worst in Iraq is over meaning is end of combat. In monday's New York Times says otherwise. The last U.S. Troops were pulleed out a few weeks ago but 50,000 U.S. noncombat troops are still in iraq. Violence is still all over the country of Iraq so that leaves us to question is the war over or not? So is the government continuing to lie to us? There still are 4,500 Special Force troops in Iraq still. So whats really going on here. The times said on thursday that offical said "espite the end of offical comabt that fighting will still be going on."They also say end of combat doesn't mean end of operations. So thats were the 4,500 Special Force. So it's end of combat but not end of operations, confusing isn't but isnt doing special ops. still fighting, combat, etc. The governmoent should stop lying!
