"I put it on just before I was due to go out on parade, but I felt these sharp pains when something stuck into my back," she told Sydney's Daily Telegraph. "I took the top off and saw all these pins had been stuck in it."
There were 82 other contestants so there is no way to narrow it down, but she does say that the girls from the South American countries and Philipines were 'extremely competitive'.
She has no plans to further her career in modeling or even to compete in another beauty pagent.

Wow, what an article. I found it very interesting for a model to get stabbed at a contest. I wouldn't think that people would go that far to eliminate the competition. Just thinking about what people do these days to win makes me not want to compete in something. Thank you for the article Max.
