Blind activist lawyer set to be released in China

A blind Chinese activist was released from prison in China. He self-taught himself to become a lawyer while he was in prison. Chen Guangcheng fought to enforce rights against China's
Constituion. He was harrassed and imprissoned in 2006 and was forced to make abortiuons around his hometown. Chen was 39 and he had a wife, 2 kids, and a brother. It was hard to make up a homecoming date though, because of all the prison authorities and security around their home. There was people around their whole yard he said and while he was trying to go out and by groceries, he said he was being followed by a dozen people on motorcycles. He was in jail 4 years and 2 months and rarely got to see his wife. The prison rules were she is allowed to make monthly visits but he still didnt get to see her as much as he wanted. chen was suffered from chronic diarreah and his wife was beaten by fellow inmates. He was accused of instigating an attack on government officers and gathering a group of people to stop traffic. Chen is now released from prison but people are still keeping an eye on him and they say some are still following him around.
