Last Wednesday an Afghan soldier in training shot and killed two Spanish police officers and an interpreter. The Spanish run training camp in Kabul, Afghanistan is under inspection by the Spanish government after the fatal shooting. An argument was being interpreted between two Spanish police and the trainee that soon got out of hand. The soldier killed the officers and interpreter before he was fatally shot by his commanding officer. Both the Spanish and the Afghans had no comment except that they understand that the crime didn’t have anything to do with diplomatic problems. Sadly the interpreter and one of the Spanish police had a wife and children that are devastated after the triple murder in Kabul.
