Japan reporter tricked captors into using Twitter

Kosuke Tsuneoka was a captive in Afghanistan for five months. Militants relied on Tsuneoka to teach them how to use their cell phones. Days before he was freed, a militant asked Tsuneoka to set it up. The militants wanted to access Al-Jezeera but he shifted their attention to Twitter. He then showed them how it worked, and tricked them tweeting " am still allive, but in jail" and "here is archi in kunduz. in the jail of commander lativ." and never realizing that militants were tricked.

Kosuke Tsuenoka was sure that he wouldn't make it out of the jail alive, but after months of captivity he was sure he would be able to gain so freedom. His captors feeded him well and never used violence against him. He is one of the dozen journalists captured in Afghanistan.

Wow, this just proves that twitter is actually useful. Smart idea though. Very clever.
