Haiti

New York Times has recently found out about the famous hip hop star Wyclef Jean
attempt to become the new president of Haiti. He was turned down by the elective
officials because he was apparently inelegible for the job. Wyclef Jean has now hired
lawyers to look over the list of eligib needs to see if in fact they had a legitimate case
against him. The people of Haiti are overjoyed to see one of their own people try to give back to their homeland. Wyclef Jean is a true philanthropist to set his own career aside to help for a better cause to people less fortunate then him. This case will not be decided quickly, but with the support of his people behind him, there is sure to be a positive outcome from the whole situation.

I feel like their just taking him as a joke. Just because he's a rapper and comedian, doesn't mean he won't make a good president? I just find it a little judgmental. I fell in love with Wyclef Jean after he made the song " Hips don't lie" with Shakira back in 2008. I honestly think he'd make a great president and it's so good to hear that Haiti is backing him up. I think he'd make a strong leader and I hope he gets to be president after this whole shananagin is over.

I also agree with the comment above. Wyclef could make a good president and its nice that hes attempting to become president for Haiti. I think he will do a lot of good for this country.
