In Cambodia, 6 years ago, Touch Eap poured a tub of acid over her husbands head. His eyes, ears, and lips burned off. She said she would have liked to kill him because he told her he was going to kill her. Touch used battery acid, that was used to power a television set, to pour on her husband. As Mr. Phoeung Phoeur sat there drinking at home he had a large knife by his side ready to kill Touch Eap. His last words were "Do what i say or ill kill you" but then she poured the acid. When he reached the hospital he immediately asked if his wife could be set freefrom the police. Ever since then she has nursed and cared for her him.
