Imperialism

In Africa The Colonizers believed Africans were unable to handle running their own country. While the colonized were foreign control. Ethiopia won against foreign powers and gained their freedom and independence. Ethiopia showed the colonizers and the colonized by defeating them. The colonizers were racist people. They believed Ethiopia was weak and they couldn't control their own country. At the end though Ethiopia came on top.

This relates to the war in Iraq because Its a sphere of influence and the war in Ethiopia was also a sphere of influence. The sphere of influence is basically an area in which an outside power claimed exclusive investment. This relates to imperialism because we are spending so much money on war while we can be spending money to fix education and too buy new books for schools. All that money on war could have gone to fix our cites and on other things as well. Even though we are spending so much money on war. Our troops are doing a good thing for Iraq. They are trying to get independence for Iraq because many people don't have freedom and maybe one day they will get freedom.
