Imperialism Synthesis Assignment

In Tunisin the government has lifted the ban on political groups. there was a new government and it was against certain political groups and did not want them in there city. so the new government had banned all political groups and said they could not have any. Ben Ali made all the Cabinet members who once belonged to the party have to quit. This showed a form of racism because the governer did not like the specific political group. But, Ali was threatened with resignations if he did not allow the political groups back in. This would have also lead to a new election if they were not brought back in. Ali did not like the idea but he did not want there to be a new election. This is why the ban on the political groups was lifted and there could be political groups again.
This article relates to imperialism because it shows racism in Africa. Racism was one of the ecffects in imperialism and it is still going on today. If you relate the ban on political groups to race and ethnicity, you can see there is racism. Some people don't like you and your culture or race just because of the color of your skin. For example, I think the common racism between two races is the whites and the blacks. In some countries and states, white people dont like black people or visa-versa. Well this governor did not like a specific political group. This is how racism is still in effect, not just by political groups but as well as race. This is in a lot of countries and states as well.
