Imperialism in Iraq

There is still modern day imperialism in today's society. America has been invading the middle east since 2001, supposedly because of weapons of mass destruction. Since then we have been colonizing our troops down there and trying to take over and rebuild their government. They have

retaliated with explosives and warfare, but we continue to sculpt their cultural world into ours.

We are doing what the early europeans did and we might be making a mistake. One of our biggest reasons for settling out in Afghanistan is the rich oil production, fossil fuel is a huge resource for America until we find new sources of energy. We will continue to fight this war and try to dominate their land. Whether they want us to or not.
