Coal has been the main resource and energy source for China since the start of their nation. And China will do whatever it takes to keep getting the coal that they apparently need so much. China's leaders have a long history of invading other places for their use of coal. Recently the president of China decided to invade northeast China and use their plentiful supply of coal. This is not the first time something like this has happened. In 1949 the communist red army of China led by emperor Mao took control of Bejiing and placed embargos on trade routes, relying on their output of coal to boost their economy. Since then, coal has been China's leading resource and it has continued to do so up until today.
China is definately not the first country to invade or take other a nother place for gain of resources. That has been goihg on for centuries dating back to the 19th where Europe divoded Africa up amongst themselves. Or when britain invaded the muslim lands of the middle east (ottoman empire, india, china). Theses were the bases of modern imperialism. Peoples love of geopolitics force them want the best. The best resoursces, the best location, the best people. This obviously led to China's love of coal plentiful locations and imperialism of other countries.
