I believe America's actions shows that they are imperialists. I don't think that forcing a country to do what they don't want to do fits well for a country that preaches freedom. America feels that the only way to do it is by using weaponry. I believe that if you want to try to change a country, let them change for how they want to change. America is basically colonizing with their troops there in Iraq. 125,000 shows that they are willing to attack to make them change. It is just like what Europe did to Africa. America believes that Iraq can't rule their own country without "help" from them. America tries to not look bad to their own country but around the world, there is a lot of hate for them.

Imperialism
America is trying to change Iraq to make them like us. They believe they are making them better just like what Britain tried to do to India. Britain believed that they were helping them by building railroads and doing trade. America believes they are helping by changing their government. They have 125,000 troops stationed there and what are they doing there? America is trying to force Iraq to be like them and with the troops there, Iraq fights back. America doesn't believe that they are imperialists but what they are doing seems like it
