interviewing an interviewer
Well, finished typing up my first isearch interview and I must say it went smoother than I thought it would. The interview was the only difficult part. I had trouble keeping notes on what he was saying while at the same time paying attention to him and continuing to ask questions. I should have mentioned this before, but I interviewed a columnist from the Mercury News named Mike Cassidy. Quite an interesting guy if I do say so myself, he knew so much about what he does. I learned a lot from this interview, and believe it or not, I'm looking forward to the next one. If i was to give someone advice before their interview, it would be to have a sheet of paper prepared with your questions, and what information you are hoping to get out of the interview. Also, try to have fun with it! Don't look at it as a homework assignment. You will get much better information that way.

Hey man this sounds pretty cool. My mom used to work for the mercury news. It sounds like your interview went pretty well. Oh also I find it helps to use a recorder or something, cuz then you can go back and take really good notes and stuff. Good luck with the rest of the project.
