For my I-search I decided to research the career of a dance teacher. I finished my first interview a couple of days ago but I was super stressed out. I think I contacted maybe four people and only one had responded. I ended up interviewing one of my best friends who has been a dance teacher for almost three years now. The whole interviewing process in general went well. I was able to connect Tommy(the dance teacher I interviewed) and he was very open and honest. Even a question that I asked about him outside of the dance category, he would somehow find a way to relate it to dance. It was nice interviewing someone who is so passionate about their job. Questions that started with “How do you...” got Tommy talking the most. I think the fact that it was one of my best friends worked for me. It was easy to be myself and communicate clear. I also learned that if there is more than one awkward silence, it's you being the awkward person, not the interviewee. Overall, I'm glad I got it done and I cannot wait until the next one.

this is very lucky interview for you because you just have to interview your best friend. it will be easy. you want be nervous because he's your friend. i like your topic because it dancing. i just love dancing. it's good that how your interviewee was bringing you on your topic even if you asked him personal questions. my interviewee laughed alot, it was nice interview.
I see you got the hang of things with interviewing and contacting other people. I don't understand what made you super stressed out. Because you totally had everything under control. But I think it was smart of you to contact four other people instead of one cause not many people respond back to you. Reading that your interview went well for you for the first time gives me hope that my next interview will be more successful than my first. Hahaha I hope. Good luck on your next interview.
Its pretty sweet that you already have connections in the career that your looking into. I think its cool that you had a friend to interview because it probably took away a load of anxiety. And much like you I had some awkward moments doing my interview, but like you said it was my fault as the interviewer not the interviewee.
That's DOPE!!! 1 of your bestfriend's is a dance teacher. You're right when you said that if there's more than 1 awkward silence, then its you not the interviewee..lol. I've had plenty of those, with plenty of ppl. You can say Im aawkward person. Do you have any tips to keep from having awkward moments? And I think i have a potential contact for you too.
Whats hanning!? When i read this i felt happy for you because He was your friend so it made it kinda easy for you to do the interview. And i feel glad that you found someone after that when out of the 4 people only one could.<<(sorry if it doesnt make sense). I wish you the best for your other interview.
your really lucky how you have hook ups already so you can get more people. But I like how you interviewed your bestfriend and its even cooler because she's a dance teacher! I also like the title by the way haha. But I wish you the best of luck with your other interviews.
